THE MUSIC IN ME.

Life is just like music with different genres. There are people who prefer to be rock rather than to pop. Sometimes, we choose to hip hop our life in order to rap out the blues covering it. Life will never be complete without music. One of the essentials for life to be meaningful is listening to music. That’s how powerful it is. We are connected to it one way or another.
Plato once said that music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. And I wouldn’t agree more. Music can give many purposes in my life. It makes me feel emotions, act and think. But there are songs that no matter what I’m doing, I just can’t stop myself from dancing to the beat. It gives me the feeling of total exhilaration. Whenever I’m feeling something, I turn to music. There is that playlist that I don’t want anyone to know. A secret playlist where my most memorable songs are. In there, I can feel and be anything. Sadness. Happiness. Sentiments. Anger. Love. Hate. Jealousy. I am fearless. If I ever hear songs of Taylor Swift, I can see that the sparks fly. When I think about my teenage dream, Katy Perry is always there. And I know that all the time, the Maroon5 will be in misery if I’m gone and they won’t go home without me. If ever I’m going to burst into tears, Fergie always remind me that big girls don’t cry. In the end, the Linkin’ Park will burn down the boy who left me brokenhearted for Karmin. And Evanescence will bring me to life and I’ll make sure that today my life begins with Bruno Mars. And if we ever meet again, I’ll never be the same. Music speaks my heart’s contents when words alone can’t. It gives the words the harmony and melody it deserves. It has the power to turn me into a dancing queen, sing like Whitney Houston or act crazy like Lady Gaga.
Music is a great uniter. An incredible force. Something that people differ on everything and anything else can have in common. It is a place where every one of us can go. It doesn’t care who you are, what you do with your life or where you were born. Everyone can come there and be equal. And music is a constant in our life. We have a connection to it somehow. Because a song can take us back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what changed in you or the world, that song will never change just like that moment.
